The mystery in the constellation »Orion«
I read in a newspaper article that astronomers in the constellation of Orion are particularly fascinated by the Orion Nebula. The Hubble telescope even made it possible for them to discover a gigantic cavern in the Orion Emission Nebula. Dr. Edgar Lucian Larkin, former director of Lowell Observatory, was probably the first astronomer who noticed this.
He described this cavity in the Orion Nebula as follows:
»What until now appeared to be a flat surface of a nebulous mass visible in the sword of Orion has now turned out to be the opening of a cavity. Behind this opening, a cavern extends – unimaginably far beyond into the infinity.
It seems as if one is looking into a gateway, all the way to the end of the cave, which is deep inside behind a glittering veil of haze. The expanse revealed there is a structure of the greatest beauty, more beautiful than anything that the human eye has ever seen. Shapes that look like columns, pillars, walls, facades, bulwarks, stalactites and stalagmites are there to be admired in the depths of the deeps. They glow and shine in a heavenly nacreous light. One cannot measure the opening of the cave to its end; but the cavity must be more than three times as long as it is wide – in other words, over 82 trillion kilometres deep.« (Quote from the magazine –Info Vero– Edition No. 9, p. 67)
Astronomers thus confirm what was revealed to two people on this earth – over 2000 years ago to the apostle John, to be read in the book of Revelation in the Bible, ...
... and 175 years ago Ellen Gould White, co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventists:
»The atmosphere parted and rolled back; then we could look up through the open space in Orion, whence came the voice of God. The Holy City will come down through that open space.« (From the book –Early Writings– p. 41, by Ellen G. White)
With the findings of the astronomers and the connection of the biblical aspect the (audio) book »The Heart to Heaven« gets a very deep meaning. My experience, which is closely connected with it and has caused me to write this book and also to set it to music as an audio book, is not just for me.
